Hakan Kaynar

He made programs for Radio Arkadaş, which introduced him to Murat Meriç. The poems and stories he wrote in the nineties, in Ankara, took part on the pages of the magazines published. Now it is mostly the life of the Academy. His daily life oscillates between history, the city, and literature. He works at Hacettepe University, Department of History.

Murat Meriç (b.1972), music writer, critic.

Murat Meriç, who started to be interested in music history during his chemical engineering education, was among the founders of Müzik magazine in 1996. He wrote articles on music in various magazines such as Roll, Mürekkep, Birikim, Milliyet Sanat, Virgül, and Bant. He is one of the founders of Radyo Arkadaş operating in Ankara. Between 2002 and 2003, he prepared and presented the television program Kırkbeşlik for TRT. He published four books, Pop Dedik / Türkçe Sözlü Hafif Batı Müziği (İletişim Yayınları, 2006), 100 Şarkıda Memleket Tarihi (Ağaçkakan Yayınları, 2016), Yerli Müzik (bi'bak Berlin, 2018) ve Hayat Dudaklarda Mey / Memleketin Anason Kokan Şarkıları (Anason İşleri Kitapları, 2019) and many more projects he is currently working on. Meriç also supports many albums as a writer and consultant. He gave and still gives seminars on music history in universities and cultural centers. He still prepares and presents the program "Harici Bellek" for Açık Radyo. His articles are in the Gazete Duvar and Kafa Magazine.
