While visiting the Ankara with the special invitation of the US Embassy, photographer Richard Webb will also give an Artist Talk at Ka. Richard Webb, grew up in Arizona in a small town called Snowflake. Webb’s photography distinguishes itself as he goes one step further in the pristine nature of Arizona, photographing places where no one dares to go, reflecting the American west and its cultural heritage, while revealing how attractive the nature of the American continent is.

In the Artist Talk, we will talk about Richard's inspirations, starting with Ansel Adams, how he reflected his view on photography, and the challenges and rewards of photographing the west of America.

Artist Talk Ka will be held at the main venue. Participation is free and open to everyone without registration.

Richard Webb

Richard is an Arizona-based photographer who earned a degree in commercial photography from Northern Arizona University. It was there that he became a large format photographer. He was a contributor to Arizona Highways Magazine for 13 years and he continues to enjoy landscape photography. He began to photograph LDS Temples on large format and he produces large giclee prints for Deseret Book and private collectors. Photographing Temples in dramatic light has become his passion.
