The Reading the Artist event continues with exploring the works and life of Auguste Rodin who has changed the understanding of ‘ideal form’ continuing from classicism and has manifested a new perspective in sculpture making. The reading will be held by Efe Solmazlar, moderated by Erdal Duman.

Efe Solmazlar was born in 1987 in Ankara and he graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Sculpture in 2012. He received training in Germany through the Erasmus program for one year. He attended various exhibitions in Ankara.

Erdal Duman received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Hacettepe University, Department of Sculpture. In 2007, he took part in the founding of the Yaygara Güncel Sanat Inisiyatifi. He gave lessons as a part-time lecturer at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture, and METU, Department of Fine Arts. He founded Referans Collective with Serkan Demir in 2020. He lives in Ankara.
