The Seesaw Talks continues with Doğu Topaçlıoğlu ve Onur Sancu's discussion session on the sound, the music, the urge to produce art together with a primitive idea of transcendence. Since the Appropriation exhibition continues, the conversation will also open up the ideas behind the exhibition. The talk will be held in Turkish without translation, but the video recordings will be available soon. Participation is limited to 30 people due to the Covid-19 outbreak. A new speech series started at Ka in January 2020.

Seesaw is a pastime in which two children or groups of children ride on opposite ends of a plank balanced in the middle so that one end goes up as the other goes down. It is not possible to ride alone but also not possible to ride with everyone. You should well decide who will be on the opposite side as this determines how much you will enjoy the seesaw!

Based on this analogy, Ka invites a guest speaker, then our guest speaker chooses his/her playmate. They perform a one-hour talk around a topic of their choice.

At the end of each event, Ka will share the recordings as podcasts and also as videos. Moreover, there will be a publication in which the design idea comes from the working logic of a seesaw: a Leporello binding in which both speakers' part is unfolded in their own direction.
