The founders of Urbanwalks.ankara continuing its city walks in cooperation with Ka Atölye, Cem & Cemre, are inviting you to a new event series with great happiness.
“We will discuss the urban space that we have experienced on foot till today, through various historical layers of the city, and its important actors and concepts. With our guests who will join us at every event, we will try to discover the built environment and its contributors together, by keeping you on the edge of the seats.
In our first talk, we will not have guests, instead we will host each other. By evaluating the urban walks that we have been doing for four years from where we sit; we will discuss how two young people coming from distant social groups and intellectual backgrounds and who are passionate about Ankara and modern architecture, have been able to continue walking, talking and discussing together for so long. Moreover, we will scrutinize ourselves and what we have done till now through the changes we have seen in the urban space, the problems we have experienced, the mistakes we have made, and the solutions we have found.”
